PRESIDING ELDER – REV. JOB PARIYAR

Rev. Job Pariyar comes from a very humble and poor village background, where life was marked by hardship, simplicity, and deep longing for God’s grace. It was in these difficult circumstances that the Lord began to shape his heart for compassion, prayer, and burden for lost souls.

In 1999, the Lord Jesus Christ saved him and transformed his life completely. From that day onward, he carried an unshakable burden for soul-winning, church planting, and strengthening God’s people. Leaving behind every worldly pursuit, comfort, and opportunity, he surrendered fully to the call of God — choosing ministry above everything else.

Over the past 25+ years, Rev. Job Pariyar has faithfully served the Lord with integrity, sacrifice, and deep spiritual conviction. His leadership is marked by:

As a servant of God, the calling of the Presiding Elder is shaped by a deep spiritual burden for the Church and for the people of India. This work is not about position or recognition, but about faithfully carrying the responsibility God has entrusted.

1. Evangelism & Outreach

A continuous desire to take the Gospel to unreached places, villages, and communities, so that every person may hear the saving message of Jesus Christ.

2. Strengthening Churches Across India

A commitment to travel, encourage, and stand with pastors and congregations—often in difficult and remote areas—so that every local church may grow strong in faith and doctrine.

3. Training & Mentoring Pastors

A heart to equip pastors through prayer, teaching, and leadership training, ensuring they are spiritually rooted, biblically sound, and prepared to shepherd God’s people with integrity.

4. Prayer & Spiritual Discipline

A life centered around prayer, fasting, and dependence on the Holy Spirit, believing that no ministry can succeed without spiritual foundation and divine guidance.

5. Loyalty to the AME Mission & Doctrine

A sincere commitment to uphold the teachings, values, and mission of the African Methodist Episcopal Church, serving faithfully under its discipline and working for its growth in India.
